Conservation Awards

- Bryophyte Society
- BIRC - funding project to research buckwheat as a cover crop
- Palm Garden at Lake Merritt - funding purchase of understory plants
- Morcom Rose Garden - funding to continue maintenance
- Children’s Fairyland - funding for their youth programs
- Friends of Sausal Creek - funding towards their ongoing habitat restoration
- Botanical Garden at Tilden Park – towards general maintenance
- Lake Merritt Institute - supporting their clean-up efforts
- U.C. Master Gardeners - funding towards the demonstration garden at Lake Merritt
- Planting Justice - supporting their nursery which focuses on training previously incarcerated individuals
